Swithing everything to android

As twittered before i disabled the SENSE interface for performance issues this way:

Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> Home -> Delete default (preset ?) -> Press Home Button, choose Home instead of SENSE and set it default

I installed the following apps:

- Dolphin Browser (another browser with all google bookmarks)

- Magnatune (free/non free music store available to ANY device)

- Terminal Emulator (you know, the shell)

- Toggle Settings (for task managing and (guess) tweaking process load)

- DailyStreap (protected app ???)

- gStrings (to tune your musical instrument: can be usuful sometime)

- AppManager (to remove or/and backup applications on SD [still problems here])

- Livella (a paper meter in my wallet and a livella as a key holder/phone (?)

- Compass (connected to GPS !!!)

- Sysadmins (comic to read sometime/show)

- Light Racer 3D basic (for 3d micro show)

- ZeptoRacer

- ConnectBot (openSSH client)

- AndAppStore (another store)

- Tesla (to remote control multimedias)

- Bebbled

- AndNav2 (free navigator using statical(?) openstreetmaps)

- ASTRO (file managing of the entire system +SD card)

- OSMdroid (temporary: it’s just an openstreetmaps viewer)

i’m testing you a bit an came out with the following results:

i see too many processes run at boot which i find a bit too many

why do i receive gmail notifications from both gmail and email apps ?

why all those HTC apps in the background ?

i find it a bit slow when playing music (between two songs it takes too much !!!)

why all those different ROMS ? i’m used to linux where one kernel does it all

i thought distro upgrades where common to all devices…

where is startup programs manager ???

Il fratello che torna dalla guerra è impazzito mentre l’altro no. Il disoccupato che naviga in tutte le condizioni è abituato a tutto e guarda poche cose

Io dico che mettendo il GPS e le applicazioni base come andnav2 e qualche app apposita come gmail e facebook che in effetti son comode rispetto al browser, si riesca a fare un ALLINONE a 100 euro o poco più. Con android lite

Il wi-fi è comodo, c’è poco da fare, ma si può sempre evitare per questioni di costi.

certo, android con un processore + forte va meglio (grazie al cazzo) ma 500 mhz mi sembrano abbastanza per ora

dopo il film visto sulla guerra “attuale” (di cui non ricordo il titolo) e questo (brother), credo che eviterò argomenti di tale portata.

Il film precedente da cui avevo estratto un pezzo aveva una scena ancor più devastante: una militare azzoppata di ritorno in usa per un congedo si trova in un bar/pub dove stan tutti guardando qualcosa su uno schermo.

Si mette a chiacchiera con due ragazze per capire di che si tratta. Si presenta dicendo di essere di ritorno dalla guerra. Dopo un po’ va in bagno. Quando torna vede che le ragazze le stanno facendo il verso (della zoppa) e la prendono in giro.

Finisce in baruffa ma la presa per il culo è grossa.

Brother è ancora più pesante:

un militare (sotto minaccia) uccide un compagno per rivedere la propria famiglia: il proprio compagno che aveva mentito dicendo di non avercela anche lui una famiglia.

Quando torna a casa è fuso.

Mi chiedo: ma davvero partono ancora per queste missioni con la divisa mimetica ?

Perché non cambiano la divisa con un bel giacca e cravatta, o un bel blu PC o un bel pantaloncini e camicia hawaiana o jeans e cinturone porta attrezzi ?
